St. Kitts and Nevis To Hold 2 Days Of Mourning And June 20 Regional Public Holiday

Prime Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas, announced two days of official mourning, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday June 19, 2007, for the late Malcolm Guishard, leader of the opposition in the federal Parliament. During that time, the national federal flag will be flown at half mast on all government buildings and the governor-general has been asked to declare a public holiday on the island of Nevis on the day of the funeral, Wednesday, June 20, 2007.
