Ghana Mulls March 3 Public Holiday

Ghana's Centre for Local Governance Advocacy (CLGA), the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), have all called on the Government of Ghana to declare Tuesday, March 3, 2015, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Ghana, on account of the upcoming local level elections being held on that date.
