Togo Cancels January 13th Public Holiday

Sources: Ghanaian Chronicle (Accra) and Togo public holidays. A press statement released last night from the office of government Spokesman, Pascal Bodjona, in Lome announced that the government has suspended the celebration of the 13th of January as a national holiday. The official statement went on to say that, henceforth, the 13th of January would be celebrated in the military barracks only.
