UAE Declares December 4 Bridge Public Holiday

According to a circular issued today by the Civil Service Council, December 4, 2008, has been declared a one-off bridge public holiday for federal ministries, department and entities.This means that the UAE public sector will be on holidays for 10 days, from December 2, until December 11, 2008, as the UAE's 37th national day public holidays extend into this year's Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha public holidays.
Update (December 1, 2008) A later statement by the Minister of Labour, HE Saqar Gobash, confirmed that the public holidays dates for the Eid al-Adha observed by the private sector would the 3 days from December 7 to December 9, 2008, inclusively.
Bangladesh Extended Eid al-Adha Bank And Financial Holiday
