Philippines Considering January 2 Public Holiday

Sources: The Sun Star (Manila) and Philippines public holiday (qppstudio.net). Earlier today, Executive Secretary, Eduardo Ermita, said that he would consult with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to determine if Friday, January 2, 2009, should be declared a public holiday in the Philippines.
