Liberia Declares Day In Lieu For Flag Day Public Holiday

Although the Liberia Public Holidays Act does not address the issue of public holidays that occur on a week-end, earlier today, the Liberian Foreign Ministry released a statement saying that since August 24th falls on Sunday, this year, a day in lieu public holiday is to be officially observed on Monday, August 25, 2008.
