Nepal July 24 Public Holiday To Celebrate Presidential Election

The Council of Ministers of Nepal decided to celebrate today's historic election of Nepal's first republican President and Vice President, by declaring tomorrow, Thursday, July 24, 2008, a one-off general public holiday. Nepali diplomatic missions abroad will also observe tomorrow's public holiday.
