The State Council of China has confirmed that the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival would be made into a 3-day public holiday, as had been announced late last year on the Q++Studio website. To this end, an extra day of holiday, Monday June 9, 2008, the day after the Dragon Boat Festival, has been declared a public holiday (presumably to compensate the fact that this year's Dragon Boat Festival falls on a Sunday).

China Confirms 3-Day Dragon Boat Festival
