With the UAE National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology expecting the heavy rains of today to continue till Wednesday afternoon, there are reports that the UAE government is considering declaring another one-off public holiday, for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 16, 2008, barely 48 hours after the one declared on the occasion of President Bush's visit on Monday.For the moment, all schools and universities have been closed for 2 days, the major roads in Sharjah have been completely flooded, and work at many construction sites in Sharjah and Ajman have been stopped due to the rain.
