A two week period of national mourning has been declared and flags will be flown at half-mast during this time.Update (September 10) Source: The Trinidad and Tobago Express. The date of Saturday, September 22, 2007, has been announced for the State Funeral of Sir John Compton. The date has not been declared a public holiday, yet, but it is likely that at least the afternoon will be. We will keep on monitoring events.
