Bosnian January 9 Public Holiday Referendum

The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (RS) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Banja Luka, has voted to hold a referendum on September 25, 2016, on the January 9 regional public holiday ("Do you agree that January 9 should be marked and celebrated as the Day of Republika Srpska?"), to counteract last year's ruling by the Bosnian Constitutional Court that the January 9 public holiday in the Republika Srpska was "discriminatory and unconstitutional".
