The supervisory body in charge of the banking sector in Guatemala (the Superintendencia de Bancos de Guatemala) has announced that a day in lieu bank holiday would be observed in Guatemala on Monday, July 4, 2016, in conjunction with the annual, Día del Empleado Bancario bank holiday of Guatemala, as well as of the annual Día del Ejército non-working public holiday in Guatemala.
