Australian ACT Mulls Public Holidays Changes

The Government of the ACT (Australia's Capital Territory) has launched public consultations on the possibility of declaring a new annual non-working public holiday in the ACT, beginning in 2017, and which would replace one of the current annual non-working public holidays of Australia's ACT; either Family and Community Day, in September, or the "Queen's Birthday", non-working public holiday of Australia's ACT in June.
