Indonesia Mulls June 1st Public Holiday

The Secretary of the Cabinet of Indonesia's Government, Pramono Anung, has announced that a bill is currently being finalized, to be signed by the president, which would declare June 1, Pancasila Day, as a new annual non-working public holiday in Indonesia, to commemorate the birth of Pancasila, in a presidential decree drafted by President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
