Late last night, Bhutan's Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, announced via a news release from the Royal Office of Media, that Monday, February 8, 2016, had been declared a one-off nationwide non-working public holiday in Bhutan, to celebrate the birth, earlier that day, of a royal heir to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Her Majesty Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema.
