The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abubakar Magaji, has announced that the Nigerian Government, in a statement signed by the Ministry’s Director of Press, Yusuf Isiaka, had declared Thursday, October 1st, 2015, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria on account of Nigeria's upcoming 55th annual independence anniversary.
