Puerto Rico To Enact Public Holidays Reduction Next Week

The Governor of Puerto Rico, Alejandro García Padilla, has announced through the Governor's Mansion Press Secretary, Jesús Manuel Ortiz, that he would sign into law next week, probably Tuesday, the "Proyecto del Senado 1113" which was recently reconciled between the House and Senate of Puerto Rico, and which will reduce the number of annual public sector holidays in Puerto Rico, by combining 4 of the current annual non-working public sector holidays of Puerto Rico into one, the "Día de los Próceres Puertorriqueños".
