The Office of the President of the Maldives, Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik , has issued a press communique indicating that Sunday, October 13, 2013, would be another one-off public holiday in the Maldives, to link the upcoming Eid ul-Ad'haa (Feast of Sacrifice) public holidays with the preceding weekend.
