Lebanon Call For September 1st Public Holiday

Following last week's declaration of Thursday, February 14, 2013, as a non-working public holiday to, once more, commemorate the anniversary of the 2005 assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Baabda MP Alain Aoun has proposed that September 1st be made into an annual non-working public holiday in Lebanon to commemorate all assassinated political leaders in the country.
