Botswana Declares October 16 Election Public Holiday

Following last week's announcement of general elections, by Botswana's President, Ian Khama, today the Minister of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Margaret Nasha, announced that the upcoming election day, Friday, October 16, 2009, will be a public holiday.
