Brazil's Senate Rejects Mid-Week Public Holiday Bill

Brazil's Senate commission on education, culture and sport (Comissão de Educação, Cultura e Esporte-CE) has rejected a bill that would have moved some of Brazil's mid-week, fixed-date, public holidays to the adjoining Friday or Monday.
