Russia's Parliament Rejects May Day Public Holidays Extension

Russia's State Duma has rejected a bill tabled by United Russia deputy, Valery Zakharyashchev, that would increase the May public holidays from 1 to 4 days, while reducing the Western New Year public holidays from 5 to 2 days.
