Egypt Announces New March 13 National Holiday

Sources: The Egyptian Gazette (Cairo) and Egypt public holidays (qppstudio.net). The government of Egypt has decided to make March 13 a new annual national holiday, to commemorate the return of Taba to Egyptian sovereignty, 20 years ago. The statement from the Egyptian Cabinet specifies that on that day, all schools and universities would close, but that Government ministries would continue working normally.
