Sources: AFP (Beijing) and China public holidays (qppstudio.net). China announced that, from this year onward, March 28, the date in 1959 when China announced the dissolution of the Tibetan government, would be an annual holiday officially called "Serfs Emancipation Day", to be commemorated in the Chinese Administrative Region of Tibet. It is still not clear, yet, if this will be a public holiday or not.
