The Netherlands Antilles federal Labour Affairs Administration has confirmed that December 15 would become a new public holiday, beginning in 2008 (see our post of May 9). To compensate for this new public holiday, Antilles' Day (October 21) will cease to be a public holiday, effective immediately (ie. it will not be observed in 2008).

Netherlands Antilles Confirms New Kingdom Day Public Holiday
