Bulgaria Declares August 15 Regional Public Holiday

A recent Cabinet Decree has made Friday, August 15, 2008, a one-off municipal public holiday in the Black Sea city of Varna which, on this date, celebrates its holiday. This is also the date when the day when the Bulgarian Orthodox Church marks the Assumption of the Holy Mother.
