Solomon Islands Extends 2008 National Day Public Holiday For 2 Days

The Solomon Islands' Minister of Home Affairs, James Tora, announced yesterday that this year's Independence Day public holiday (the 30th), would be extended for an additional day, to include Tuesday, July 8, 2008, as well as the regularly scheduled public holiday on Monday, July 7, 2008.
