On the other hand, Dr Juma bin Ali bin Juma, minister of manpower, issued a ministerial decision declaring Thursday, Rajab 28, 1429 AH (July 31, 2008) as the official public holiday for employees in private sector establishments.
In all cases, work will resume on Saturday, August 2, 2008.
