Nepal Confirms May 28-30 Public Holiday

In our post of May 22, we wrote that our contacts in Nepal had indicated that it was very likely that the 3-day period from May 28-30 would be declared a public holiday to mark the first Constituent Assembly Convention, which is expected to will formally declare Nepal a federal democratic republic. This has now been confirmed. In addition all schools will also be closed from May 28-30, inclusively.
