The government has announced that Wednesday April 16 will be a day in lieu public holiday, in compensation for the first day of the Lao New Year public holiday, April 13, falling on a Sunday in 2008.This is in accordance with section 28 of the 1994 Labor Code of Laos, and the list of 2008 Laos public holidays published on the Q++Studio website since the beginning of January.
