Pakistan's Sindh Province Declares Additional Public Holiday

The Governor of Sindh (which contains Karachi), Dr Ishratul Ibad, announced an additional public holiday in the province on 11th Rabiul Awal (Thursday, March 20, 2008), in addition to 12th Rabiul Awal (The Prophet's Birthday), so that the population can condemn the publication of Danish caricatures of The Prophet, and the upcoming Dutch movie on Islam.
