Nepal Sets New Date For Constituent Assembly Elections

Sources: Nepal News and Nepal public holidays. The Constituent Assembly Elections that were to take place in May 2007, then in November 2007, but were postponed both times, have been rescheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2008. As a public holiday was planned on the 2 previous occasions, and the days after the weekend, the 13th and 14th of April are already public holidays, we think that it is quite likely that Nepal will declare a public holiday on April 10, 2008.
