Romania Public Sector Holiday On December 24

Romania's Prime Minister, Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, announced yesterday that Monday, December 24, 2007, would be a one-off, bridge public holidays for the public sector. In a related announcement, Romania's Minister of Labor, Paul Păcuraru, added that, in compensation, Saturday, January 12, 2008, would be a normal working day.
