Romania Declares December 31 Bank Holiday

Last week, the main Romanian banks had already announced reduced opening hours (and in some cases, no opening hours) for Monday, December 31, 2007, but the situation has now been clarified with the declaration of a one-off bridge bank holiday on Monday, December 31, 2007. Banks and financial institutions in Romania will be closed on that day.
