Sources: Arabian Business and Qatar public holidays. Late Sunday, a circular was issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, announcing that the upcoming Eid al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday would last from Wednesday, December 19 to Tuesday, December 25, 2007, inclusively.
Note that, in addition, since this year, December 18 is Qatar's National Day, also a public holiday (see our post of April 5), and probably the reason why the beginning of the Eid al Adha public holiday was moved up, from its expected date of December 20.
Foreign companies may extend their holiday to include Christmas and New Year's Eve.
