Bosnia's Republic of Srpska Declares 3-Day Mourning

Earlier today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska (one of the two political regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Milorad Dodik, declared three days of national mourning for President Milan Jelić, 51, who died last night. Flags in all Republic of Srpska institutions will fly at half mast from October 1 to 3, 2007, and all sports and cultural activities in the region have been cancelled.
