Eid al-Fitr, or Ramazan Bayram) public holiday would be observed on Friday and Saturday, October 12-13, 2007. Furthermore, it was announced that Sunday the 15th would be considered a non-working day, while Monday October 15, 2007, would be a one-time day in lieu public holiday to compensate for the second day of the End of Ramadan public holiday occurring on a Saturday.
