Oman Stipulates Reduced Working Hours For Public And Private Sector During Ramadan

The government of Oman has announced reduced working hours (09:00 to 14:00) for all government employees and a maximum of 6 hours per day for Muslim workers in the private sector during holy month of Ramadan, which is set to run from September 13 to October 12, this year, in Oman.

The statement for government workers was issued by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, while the announcement for Muslim private sector workers was issued by Manpower Minister, Dr Juma bin Ali bin Juma.
