A day in lieu public holiday has been declared in Sabah State, on Monday, September 17, 2007, as the public holiday of September 16 for the birthday of the Head of State, falls on a Sunday this year.In addition, the State Secretary's Office, announced that the corresponding birthday parade, investiture of State awards and the State banquet will be held on October 27, 2007, as September 16 coincides with the fasting month of Ramadan, in 2007.
