Uganda Declares 3 Days Of National Mourning

Third Deputy Prime Minister, Hajji Kirunda Kivejinja, declared three days of national mourning starting today, August 31, 2007, in honour of the 75 deaths in the Sunday accident which occurred when a military truck carrying soldiers and their families overturned on a steep hill in the Mount Elgon foothills of eastern Uganda.
