Earlier today, Taiwan's Legislature declared Sunday, July 15, 2007, as a Memorial Day to mark the twentieth anniversary of the end of martial law in Taiwan (1949-1987). Premier, Chang Chun-hsiung, however said this Memorial Day would not be a public holiday.
