Pakistan's Bajaur Province Declares Shariah Law And Forces Friday Closings

Upset by President Musharraf's actions in the recent Red Mosque, Muslim extremist parties have taken control of the Bajaur district and instituted strict Shariah law. One of the first measures taken by the new, de facto, authorities of the district, is that Fridays are now the weekly day of rest and that all businesses should be closed on those days.
