UK: Renewed Moves For Wales' March 1st Public Holiday

Swansea Council has voted to investigate the cost and legality of the council celebrating Sain David's Day, Wales' national day, on March 1st, every year. The UK government has rejected calls for a Wales-wide holiday, although it was backed by Assembly Members in a vote 7 years ago.
