Guinea Declares June 25 Public Holiday For Gadaffi

Guinea declared a public holiday for Monday, June 25, 2007, to honour the visit of Libyan leader Moammar Gadaffi, who is in the Guinean capital on his way to the AU summit in Accra, having driven in a convoy of several hundred vehicles via Mali from Libya (the AU is the successor to the OAU, the Organisation of African Unity).
