Peru's Vice-President indicated that a special security plan would be put in place, to coincide with the upcoming APEC meeting to be held in Lima, in November 2008.Analysis: If a public holiday is declared, it will probably be limited to metropolitan Lima, in a manner similar to the way Sydney will observe a public holiday on September 7, 2007, for its own APEC meeting.
